We need ANY dog or puppy dry food for our countywide Pet Food Bank; we need dog and cat carriers; we need Science Diet pet foods (any type); we need gentle lead collars for medium, large, and extra large dogs. We also always need pet beds/cushions, cat litter (any kind), leashes and collars (especially puppy collars), pet toys, grooming supplies, and LOVE LOVE LOVE for the fuzzballs! Donations Why
yes, we'd LOVE some donations, thanks for asking! (grin) We are currently an all-volunteer organization; monetary donations are used to support a number of programs, including: Stop the Cycle free or low-cost spay/neuter for county residents (um, I mean, for their PETS)... Fear no Feral cat TNR (trap/neuter/replace or rehome)... Pet Food Bank for our county's hungry but loved owned pets... shelter operations expenses, such as kennels, disinfectant, heat, utilities and phone... What your money DOESN'T do is make any of us rich - we even buy our own pizza at board meetings. |
Preapproval
Looking for a particular breed, age, hair length, color? We have a large notebook full of preapproved adopters who are just waiting for that perfect new pet - many of our pets are adopted to these preapproved applicants without ever being listed publicly. If you'd like to join the pets wanted list, please send in an application for preapproval, and let us contact you when your perfect pet arrives.

Just want to visit with a horse or other livestock part-time? Sign up to be a FOSTER HOME! Livestock rescues happen suddenly, and we like to have a list of possible foster homes on hand at all times. If you can care for an animal for even as little as a couple of weeks, Forget Me Not Shelter needs you.
