Laverne

Laverne and her sister Shirley were rescued by a kind person who heard through the grapevine that their original owner had put them in a box and dumped them in the cemetery. After a little research, their rescuer was able to determine that the mother dog is most likely a Great Pyrenees mix; these sisters look like they probably have different fathers, and we are considering them "Le Mutte" pups, the best kind! We estimate that they were Christmas babies, born around 12/25/09.

Laverne and Shirley have BIG paws, and are large for their age; they will probably be over 60# when full-grown.

Laverne has a thick, slightly wavy black coat with tan and white accents and "redhead" ears.

Puppies require a lot of human interaction, and all puppies will benefit from obedience training and full immersion in their human household. These pups' ideal homes will have someone who can exercise them with a couple of energetic walks each day, plus commitment to training them how to be the best dogs they can be. They hope to have very few hours per day when they will be without the companionship of a human or other pet. They will reward their forever owners with boundless love and loyalty!

Spay, worming, and all age-appropriate shots are always completed before placement, and are included in the adoption donation (suggested minimum $95; more gratefully accepted!) Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners.
