Kodiak 0562

Kodiak is a very handsome chow/Great Pyrenees mix boy, about 4 years old (born 12/31/05). He was surrendered when his owner's health deteriorated and she was no longer able to care for him. Kodiak is currently fostering with a family that has many other dogs and some cats. He knows the commands "sit" "come" "stay" and "go home" and is housebroken. He likes to ride in the car, enjoys playing with the other dogs, is tolerant of the cats, is very smart and great with people. He's a big dog, about 75 pounds, and might accidentally knock over toddlers. Kodiak needs a little practice walking on leash, but is controllable. He's a very smart, and very happy, dog who will make a great companion.

Here is a short intake video, to help you see his size and how he relates to his new "foster home" buddies:

Alteration, worming, and all age-appropriate shots are always completed before placement, and are included in the adoption fee (suggested minimum $75; more gratefully accepted!) Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
