Ivy (female) and seven siblings came to us under our Stop the Cycle program, where we take in unwanted litters of pups and spay the mother dog at our expense before returning her to her owner.

These pups have a border collie cross mother and a suspected German shorthair pointer father. They have all been very well socialized, were kept with their mother until weaned, and are now being kept together in a foster home until they head out for their new families. They are sharing the foster home with several adult dogs and two cats, so should fit in quite well in just about any household.

These pups are smart, playful and very sweet; they should all grow up to be lovely family dogs, and would appreciate a home where they can receive lots of exercise and play time. We expect them to be around 40 pounds when fully grown. Thus far, the pups haven't really started developing different personalities; they all seem to take turns being the bold adventurer or the wallflower, depending on how sleepy or curious they are! Their foster mom says they are just a joy to have around.

Spay and all age-appropriate shots are always completed before placement, and are included in the adoption donation (suggested minimum $70; more gratefully accepted!) Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! If you find the pet of your dreams, Forget-Me-Not will find a way to connect you! Puppies under 6 months of age can transport to the Seattle area (usually North Bend or Monroe) or to Spokane for an additional $45 transport fee (to help reimburse our volunteer drivers for the gas used on the 700 mile round trip).
