Azumi arrived at the shelter along with 4 of her housemates and 1 dog, after their owner died. REMINDER: If you haven't already done so, please prepare a written pet plan to go with your will, just in case, so your family members don't end up at a shelter like Azumi and her friends!
We are giving all 5 cats an estimated birth date of 5/31/11. Azumi is a stunning mix of domestic medium hair and seal point Himalayan.
Azumi is used to other cats and dogs, and could be an indoor or indoor-outdoor cat. Azumi should do fine in a home with children; if you'd like two, Azumi would be happy to go home with one of her buddies, but she would also do well as an only cat. If you have an existing cat, Azumi is definitely used to being the queen bee, and tends to boss other kitties around (even her friends!), so your cat would need to be an easygoing, non-dominant but also non-timid, cat - she will probably get along best with a boy kitty.

Azumi will arrive spayed, wormed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Adoption fee for Azumi is suggested minimum $50 (more gratefully accepted). These cats will be placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to adjust to each other. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners.If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
