Tux

Tux and his buddy Smokey-II were left behind when their owner had to move across the country suddenly. Tux is about 11 years old, tolerates dogs and is good with other cats. He is used to being an indoor-outdoor cat, and would do well in just about any situation. Tux, as an older black cat, has two strikes against him, and you can kind of tell he is worried about ever having a home again. We believe this handsome guy deserves a comfortable chair by the fire, or at least a comfortable bed of soft grass in the garden, where he can live happily for the rest of his life (which could easily be 10 or more years from now). Do you have a place for Tux?

He has already been neutered and fully vaccinated, some of the costs of which are included in the adoption donation (suggested minimum during summer "Respect Your Elders" special $20; more gratefully accepted!) Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! If you have found the pet of your dreams in Tux , Forget-Me-Not will send your new buddy out to you on one of our regular monthly transports to the Seattle area (usually North Bend or Monroe) or North Spokane -- no transport fee for adult cats on one of our regularly scheduled transports!
