Pre-approval

Looking for a particular breed, age, hair length, color? We have a large notebook full of pre-approved adopters who are just waiting for that perfect new pet - many of our pets are adopted to these pre-approved applicants without ever being listed publicly. If you'd like to join the pets wanted list, please send in an application for pre-approval, and let us contact you when your perfect pet arrives.

Donations

Why, yes, we'd LOVE some donations, thanks for asking! (grin). We are an IRS-approved 501(c)3 charitable organization. Your donations are fully tax-deductible. If you have paypal or a credit card, you can

now!

We are currently an all-volunteer organization; monetary donations are used to support a number of programs, not just our adoption program, including:

Stop the Cycle free or low-cost spay/neuter for county residents (um, I mean, for their PETS)

Fear no Feral cat TNR (trap/neuter/replace or rehome)

Shelter operations expenses, such as kennels, disinfectant, heat, utilities and phone... and our

Ferry County Pet Food Bank.

What your money DOESN'T do is make any of us rich - we even buy our own pizza at board meetings.

Stuff We Need!

We need *any* items in good condition, to list under our online charity auctions on eBay and the fabulous new site, NEOLOCH.COM - see home page for more details! If you have items to donate, please call 775-2308 and leave a message for Kim or email .

Items we need for our various programs and the pets at the shelter:

Cat litter
Cat trees
Scratching posts
Collars and leashes
Grooming supplies
Dry pet food, any kind
Pet carriers, all sizes
Dogloos, all sizes
Cat gloves (anti-bite)

We also always need pet beds/cushions, pet toys, and LOVE LOVE LOVE for the fuzzballs! Want to brush a cat or walk a dog? We need you!

Drop us a line at the address above, give us a call at 509-775-2308, or email

Barn Cats

These are the healthy adult cats from rescued colonies. We spay or neuter them and give them their shots, then place them in approved rural settings where they are guaranteed food and any future medical care in exchange for rodent patrol - your own little fuzzy "feed security system!" If you would like to register with us as a Barn Cat Rescue location, please let us know who and where you are, and how many cats you would like to take. Since they are all spayed/neutered, you won't end up overrun - the cats you take are the cats you have, no little surprises! Cats are only placed in preapproved locations.

A NOTE ABOUT EMAILS
Many mail servers - including ours! - shunt emails from unknown parties into a "Spam" or "Trash" folder.

We always answer EVERY email within 48 hours (usually within 24 hours). We also go through our Spam filter several times a day, to locate misdirected emails.

If you have not received a reply within 48 hours, please (1) - check your spam filter for our reply, and if it is not in there,
(2) - resend your message, and call us at 509-775-2308 to let us know to expect it.
