2/3/14:

Abbie and Tillie watching the SuperBowl. Not worried about Manning.

10/8/13:

Tillie and Abbie are doing fine together. They relax in same room, just chillin’ with no drama. They eat their kitty treats a couple of feet apart.

The cat tree has been moved from the ”cat room” into our great room and food has been moved to the hallway.  Tillie still has a litter box and sleeping/hiding boxes in cat room if she needs security but we are encouraging her to come out.

Last night Tillie was on the cat tree for a while then moved to sofa and slept between Tim’s feet. She keeps an eye on the ceiling fan. (Do  eastern Washington cats have to worry about large birds?)

Abbie enjoys that cat tree more than ever. Shadow (RIP) must have told her it was off limits.

Tillie is very curious.  She was up on the desk yesterday, helping me print documents. She had her head next to the printer, helping fix a paper jam.

She kept up her squeaky meow until I opened the shower doors.  She was trying to climb the tub enclosure which didn’t work very well because there was shampoo bottles on shelves. Wondering if this is something from her past?  Maybe she climbed up and out a window in a bathroom?

Today, when I was brushing my teeth, Tillie  got a drink from faucet.  Just too cute

I’ll keep you posted and will try to get photo of the girls together.  I am pleasantly surprised that we are doing so well after just over a week.

9/29/13:

Tillie met me at the bedroom door the morning. She was meowing and demanding that pet her NOW.

:-)
Oh yes, Abbie has now made her opinion known.
She doesn't feel that we need another cat in the house, thank you very much.
It's only day one, not worried.

9/28/13:

Had cat carrier on my lap the whole ride. Not a peep from Tillie. She let me pet her without complaining.

Got home, brought her into cat room. Opened carrier, she came out, went into cat box, back out again.
Check out the room then went into box. We've seen her eat, drink and go into litter box several time. Don't think she's used it yet. We don't use clay litter.

We left her alone then Tim went in and then later I came in. She was in corner behind rolling cabinet and came out on her own.

She's walking around, rubbing her cheek on everything, claiming it as her own. She is purring when I pet her. Let me brush her. Rubbed cheek on Abbie's brush. Squeaked at me then climbed half way up the cat tree. Looking around the room, I think she wanted to see what was on top of desk. Went back into the corner, out the corner.

I've moved stuff and put one of the cat boxes in that corner. Ha! She is exploring everything, in the window sill, up the tree. Purring and talking to me--love the squeak.

SHE IS DOING GREAT!!!

Meanwhile---Abbie hasn't shown any interest in smells of another cat. She is her usual self.
Silly thing.
