5/20/13: Some photos of Moose with his sister Tucker, and his "brother" Toro:

5/11/13:

Moose is doing great! Growing, learning and keeping all of us on our toes :-) Still having some pee pee issues in the house on occasion. He does not give any indicators and will literally be playing or walking through the house and just pee, barely stops, barely squats and half the time he is still moving. This is only happening couple of times a week though and is becoming more infrequent. But we have been so consistent with "pee pee outside" that I swear he is peeing on command when we go outside to pee,, I say "pee pee outside" and he gives me this look and squats and pees LOL LOL . So we are getting there.

He learned "sit" in 10 minutes flat and "lay down" in about 15 minutes... we are now working on "stay" Exercise has not been a problem,, on the days we are not up at the ranch we walk a few miles in the morning and about 4 miles before bed. We are up at the ranch 3 to 4 days a week and Moose and Tucker literally wrestle and run and roll and puppy fight ALL day long ALL over the ranch. And we are working on sitting quietly when the horses are out, which is easier to work on after Moose and Tucker have worn each other out.

Toro has been the best big brother ever,, Hector and I both have been very surprised at how well he is doing with Moose. They play and cuddle (ok so Toro does not willingly desire the cuddling but Moose is so persistent that Toro gives in and and cuddles) Toro does not play so rough as to hurt or scare Moose but he will properly put Moose in his place if Toro does not want to play anymore and Moose listens and leaves him alone for awhile. Ezio, our shelter cat likes to stalk Moose and they will chase each other through the house,, and Crack Princess Ash tolerates him and tries to interact with him until he gets too excited then she is out of here.

Crating/kenneling at night as been a breeze,,no crying or whining and he knows the command "kennel" and goes in and lays down... he goes to bed at 9pm and I make sure he goes out to pee at 12:30am and again at 4am when i wake up, after the 4am potty he comes to my bed with Toro and I and cuddles and sleeps till 6:30am.

I could not be happier with my Moose, he is MY dog and I love him to pieces. He is showing he will grow into an incredible dog, companion, ranch hand and partner. I will get some good pics of Moose, Toro and Tucker to send you... we are so busy laughing at them all the time that no one ever remembers to take pictures :-)
