We've been meaning to send this update for quite some time now, and it just keeps getting away from us. Went to your site tonight to make a donation (that we've also been meaning to do for some time now) and saw that Gwen's (Wendy's sister) new parents have been keeping you all regularly updated, I figured it was high time we did so too.

Wendy has been an ABSOLUTE JOY and AMAZING ADDITION to our lives!! We feel so blessed to have found her and have her as part of our family. As advertised, she got on great with our cat immediately upon entering her new home just a bit over a year ago. She has also proven to be equally as good with our new baby (born this past November). We couldn't have asked for more in a dog. She has a blast when she's out in nature (where she gets to pretty frequently), she's been to the coast a few times and even went for a snowshoe hike last year. She had a great time hanging out and herding with her sister Gwen when her family was down here in Portland this past year for a visit. We've tried her hand at sheep herding, which she was a natural at (though no interest in herding ducks) and I will likely be getting her into the therapy program here so that she can visit nursing homes and such to brighten up other people's days as well. We love her and we thank you for connecting us with her!! Hope the holidays were good and that 2010 is treating you all well so far. Keep up the great work!
